Kyra Morris

Kyra H. Morris, CFP®, EA

Kyra began her financial planning career in 1983. She obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1986 and founded Morris Financial Concepts in 1987. Mrs. Morris is committed to the development of financial planning as a profession. Kyra was one of the founders of the SC Society for the Institute of Certified Financial Planners in 1985, and from 1993-1997 she served in a national position on the board of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. From 2000 – 2004 she served on the CFP Board of Standards, which maintains the certification mark and the ethical standards established for CFP® professionals.

Kyra’s accolades include being named six times by Worth Magazine, Mutual Fund Magazine and Bloomberg Wealth Management as one of the top financial planners in the country. In addition, Dow Jones Investment Advisor featured her on their cover, and Financial Planning Magazine named her one of the “Movers and Shakers” in the profession. Ms Morris speaks at many conferences both in America and abroad.

Client Focus: Kyra, through her company and staff, values all individuals and seeks to enrich lives by using her experience and skills in wealth and investment management. Her goal is to integrate her clients’ core values and life goals into successful financial planning and investment strategies tailored to their particular needs and circumstances.

Life Focus: "I focus on my family, my husband, Rob, and our three sons, Tucker, Bobby and Gable. I enjoy exploring the world through food and travel. I am a fourth degree black belt in karate and focus on staying in shape, mentally and physically."


Elizabeth Ivy

Elizabeth Ivy, CFP®

Elizabeth graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2003 with a dual B.S. in finance and marketing. In 2008 she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. Elizabeth brings a background in accounting and banking and has been with the firm since 2004.

Client Focus: Elizabeth works with clients to help them obtain their life goals through integrative financial planning and wealth management.

Life Focus: “Outside of work I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. My daughter is an avid horse lover and is becoming an excellent rider. Her passion inspires me every day.”



Mario Nardone

Mario Nardone, CFA®

Mario relocated to Charleston to join MFC in February 2010, after ten years with Vanguard in Valley Forge, PA. He is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and became a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder in 2003.

Client Focus: Mario is responsible for the continuous evaluation and implementation of MFC’s investment philosophy and processes. He reviews the performance and strategy of client portfolios, making recommendations to maximize investment performance relative to client goals and risk tolerance. He is also the firm’s Compliance Officer, ensuring that MFC is meeting or exceeding its regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities.

Life Focus: "To experience first-hand the people, places, customs, and natural wonders of the world through travel and SCUBA diving. Closer to home, I enjoy playing softball, flag football, or any other form of friendly competition, conservation and community service work, and spending time with family and friends."


Robert Morris, Jr.

Robert Morris, Jr., Chief Information Officer

After serving in the Marine Corps, Rob majored in computer science at Clemson, married Kyra, and began a 20-year career in information technology at BP/Amoco.

Client Focus: Rob brings those years of experience and responsibility to the management of the firm’s information and investment systems.

Life Focus: “To experience all that life has to offer.”




Sherry Cook

Sherry Cook, Client Service Manager

Sherry graduated in 1971 from the Medical University of SC with a BS in nursing. She was a homemaker and volunteer before joining Morris Financial Concepts in November 1999.

Client Focus: Sherry works closely with clients and staff to ensure that clients’ needs are met in a timely manner.

Life Focus: “Spending time with family and friends is one of my greatest pleasures.”



Dan Callahan

Dan Callahan, Client Service Manager

Dan graduated from College of Charleston’s Business School with a B.A. in business with a finance concentration and a minor in mathematics. While at the College of Charleston he was active in the investment club and he currently plans to further his education by obtaining the Certified Investment Management Analyst℠ (CIMA®) designation. He participates in the community as a member of the Green Team in the Old Village Mount Pleasant and is a member of Charleston Young Professionals.

Client Focus: Dan coordinates and oversees investment account management.

Life Focus: “I enjoy spending time with friends and family and taking advantage of everything Charleston has to offer. If I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors or playing basketball in one of the local leagues.”



Tiffany Pripeton

Tiffany Pripeton, Associate Financial Planner

Tiffany graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in business with a concentration in finance from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed the CFP® Board-Registered Program as well as a minor in psychology and an Honors Scholar degree. She was very active in Virginia Tech’s financial planning program and was a teachers’ assistant for several financial planning courses during her last two semesters. She interned at Permanent Value, a financial planning firm in San Diego, California. Tiffany is currently pursuing her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. She enjoys MFC’s holistic approach to caring for its clients and is a committee member with the Charleston Young Professionals.

Client Focus: Tiffany enjoys making a difference in people’s lives by helping them look at their finances so they can achieve their goals.

Life Focus: “I am an avid traveler and enjoy learning from other people and cultures. Although I am relatively new to Charleston, I look forward to becoming active in the community and volunteering with children.”



Karrie Saboe

Karrie Saboe, CPA

Karrie received her bachelor degree from Furman University and studied accounting at the College of Charleston. She is a certified CPA in the state of South Carolina. In the past 15 years she’s worked in tax and accounting roles for a variety of organizations including BDO Seidman, Automated Trading Desk, and a private foundation.

Client Focus: Karrie is excited to put her accounting skills to work helping MFC behind the scenes, allowing the other MFC team members to focus on their clients.

Life Focus: “I have three young, active children and it is important to me to be involved in everything they do. My husband and I enjoy spending as much time as possible in warm months out on our boat with the kids. I am also an active competitor in pretty much any activity I can find, including tennis, cycling and swimming.”




Kamakshi Baliga

Kamakshi Baliga, CPA

Kamakshi is a CPA who has been with the firm since 2002. Prior to joining MFC, Kamakshi worked for a local CPA firm.

Client Focus: Kamakshi deals with tax and financial planning issues for clients.

Life Focus: “My focus is on my family.”
